Joseph Colbert has practiced residential and commercial real estate law in New York and Connecticut for many years. Among New York’s most successful and prominent real estate attorneys, Mr. Colbert has been identified among the top attorneys in the New York area. He is a general practitioner who focuses on the representation of cooperatives, condominiums, homeowners’ associations and other organizations and individuals as general, corporate and litigation counsel.
Mr. Colbert is a graduate, with honors, from New York University Stern School of Business, finance and international business, and from St. John’s University, School of Law. He was a member of St. John’s Law Review and received the NY State Bar Association’s Legal Ethics award. Mr. Colbert taught as an Adjunct Professor of Law at St. John’s University School of Law for years. He has also served as a mediator and arbitrator.
